Presently
we have 11 full members. In total we know of 84 hearing
impaired persons in Antigua. However, research on this
subject is still necessary since we believe that there
are many other hearing impaired individuals in our society.
We have meetings on third (or fourth) Tuesdays, at the
Tim O’Rilley Auditorium at 6:00pm.
There
are two classes of membership.
1. Ordinary: Christians who are actively involved in
the work of a local assembly of the body of Christ and
are prepared to minister faithfully to the Deaf and
Hearing Impaired. Members in this category are eligible
to vote, are 21 years of age or older, and are required
to contribute an annual subscription fee.
a. Directors and Officers – Main
administrative body.
b. General - Valid members of local
Churches.
2. Provisional: Other members of society who are desirous
of contributing their
time and resources. Members in this category are not
eligible to vote.
a. Advisory – Church leaders
(such as Pastors, department heads, Elders and other
individuals with significant leadership experience)
appointed by the directors. Advisors are required to
provide spiritual support, counsel on various issues
and may be requested to attend specific meetings.

Impaired Individuals who regularly attend meetings and
activities.
